With our partner NextMove Dance, we offer a special retrospective to celebrate and further our dance legacy through a blockbuster series of audience favorites, thoughtful tributes and debut performances. As the presenter that first introduced Philip Glass to Philadelphia, our three-week #GLASSFEST honors his legacy in a range of performances, including one featuring the groundbreaking composer himself. Grammy® and Latin Grammy® award-winning vocalist Lila Downs serves as our 19/20 season Artist-in-Residence, expanding our The Philadelphians: Migrations That Made Our City series. This year, we shine a spotlight on Mexican Americans, one of Philadelphia’s largest current immigrant groups, and how this population has reshaped and contributed to our great city.
