Do you thrill to beautiful dancing? Do you enjoy Pennsylvania Ballet? You will love the students of The School of Pennsylvania Ballet in their inaugural performance!

Formed three years ago, The School of Pennsylvania Ballet has already attracted 160 aspiring dancers who take as their inspiration the world-class company of Pennsylvania Ballet. Led by School Director Arantxa Ochoa, one of the most celebrated dancers in the history of Pennsylvania Ballet, the school will present its first annual performance entitled “A Glorious Beginning,” dedicated to the school’s founder, Barbara Weisberger. The program features George Balanchine’s Serenade, the first ballet Balanchine choreographed in America, plus a world premiere by Durante Verzola and other works.
