September 19, 2019 · Harold Prince Theatre
Traditional Arabic street music, electrified. The Jordanian Palestinian band 47SOUL mixes Debka, the traditional Palestinian street music and dance, with electronic beats, funk, hip-hop and rock, and “the ensuing fusion is fascinating.” (The Guardian) Performing in Philly for the first time, 47SOUL rocks our stage with distinctive guitar hooks and shattering, bilingual verses that call for universal freedom and equality. It’s a hypnotic and heartfelt dance party for all.
Please note, this performance includes haze and the sound will be loud. Also, be aware that there will be bag checks prior to entering the theatre.
