In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety, security and convenience of Annenberg Center patrons and performers, we ask that you please take a moment and review our policies.
When to Arrive
Plan on arriving around 30 minutes prior to the performance. This will give you enough time to use the restroom, find your seat, and read through the program. If you need to pick up tickets from will call, you may want to arrive a few minutes earlier. Ushers will direct you to your seat and are happy to answer any questions you may have about locations of restrooms, the concessions stand, etc. In addition, please check the INSIGHTS page to see if there are any pre- or post-show events you may be interested in attending as that may affect your arrival time.
Late seating is at the discretion of House Management and may not be possible for some performances. If you arrive late, ushers will seat you at the earliest appropriate time during the performance, usually at the end of a piece or scene. Out of respect for the performers on stage and the other audience members, you will be asked to wait in the lobby with the usher until the appropriate seating break. In some cases, this will not be until intermission, so please plan accordingly! If you need to leave the performance early, we ask that you leave at a point in the performance when moving around would be of minimal disturbance to those around you, such as during the applause at the end of a song. When you return, you will be asked to wait with the usher until the next seating break.
Cell Phone and Camera Usage
We ask that you turn off or silence all noise-making electronics, including cell phones during the performance. Taking pictures and video recording is prohibited at all performances. Likewise, we ask that text messaging devices be turned off during performances as they may disturb other audience members.
What to Wear
The Annenberg Center has no formal dress code and we encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Jeans and tennis shoes are acceptable, although some patrons prefer to dress more formally. When in doubt, business casual is always appropriate. In addition, please consider the effects of strong perfumes and colognes on those seated around you.
All persons entering the theatre, including babes in arms, must have a ticket. Please carefully consider whether a performance is appropriate for your child before planning to attend. Also, please be aware that disruptive patrons, including children, will not be allowed to remain in the theatre. Be considerate of others in the audience and of your child’s comfort.
Food and Beverages
Food and beverages are not permitted in any of the Annenberg Center theatres.
