Rosie Herreras super-charged and edgy dance-theatre works reflect the diverse culture of Miami. Based on themes of aging, fragility and isolation, her fearless cast of dancers and actors perform Dining Alone. The work is inspired by Herreras childhood memories as the daughter of a restaurant owner who observed the bittersweet and private moments of solitary diners. These surreal scenes feature food fights, dinner plates as props and lip-synching, promising a comic yet tragic work.
